TEEN, YOUNG ADULT & COUPLES THERAPIST
We are all on our own unique journey, shaped by beliefs, decisions, people, places, and more. During the therapeutic process, I look at how the emotional, physical, personal, and family environment and experiences impact one’s decisions and well-being. I tailor my approach to the individual, building mental tools and behavioral skills to navigate every day life and relationships.
I believe all have inner strength, and can rise above their challenges, choose the best path to live well and make choices that support growth and self-love. The foundation of my therapeutic approach is empowering my clients through self exploration, confidence building, and education. Whether your goal is to adapt, change, better or heal, my process is focused on your needs, with a nonjudgemental, direct, and empathetic environment.
I offer clinical support for interpersonal challenges, relationship issues, stress, career transitions, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, and substance use issues.
My professional experience in various clinical settings, from inpatient, intensive outpatient, and private practice have greatly supported my approach. I have specialized training in evidence based interventions, and use the following modalities in my practice: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also use the Havening Technique for individuals with stress, trauma and anxiety.
I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults and couples. If you are seeking knowledge about therapy, or actively pursuing the support for you or your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
