If you have been feeling down, lost, overwhelmed, ineffective, or anxious, I am here to help. Seeking therapy takes courage and strength. I consider it a great privilege and a great responsibility to navigate this process with you.

I provide my clients with a warm, shame-free, and safe space to explore life experiences and how they impact current thoughts, feelings, behaviors. Together we will identify and discuss areas of your life you want to reflect on, clarify, strengthen, and change. We will establish healing through the empowerment of processing the past, learning coping skills to deal with day to day challenges, and creating meaning and hope for the future. The sessions may not always be comfortable or easy and it may take some time to experience the changes you seek, but I will be with you each step of the way.
I believe therapy should be creative, collaborative, revelatory, and most of all, helpful. My style is down to earth, personable, and direct yet gentle. All of my work is based in empathy and authenticity. My interventions are aimed at promoting insight, self-awareness, distress tolerance, and self-management. My approach is founded in psychodynamic therapy and deep insight-oriented work. In addition, I intuitively pull from a range of other modalities to meet your specific needs. These modalities include: dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. I also specialize in Parent Effectiveness Training and parent skills coaching.
I enjoy working with individuals and families to navigate the challenges of life, whether they are personal, with family, or with peers. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, transitions and adjustments, identity development, self-esteem, parenting skills, relationship concerns, emotion regulation, and self-injurious behaviors.
If you are looking for support with any of the issues listed above, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I am currently accepting adolescents, adults, and families and look forward to hearing from you.
